Preliminary Design
Nota Bene provides early-stage design support that helps shape and test project concepts before detailed development begins. Our preliminary design service includes the production of concept drawings, vehicle tracking assessments, and visualisations such as photomontages to clearly communicate proposed interventions and their impact.

Sheffield City Council CRSTS A61 Chesterfield Road & Upper Don Valley
Led the production of 2D highway layout designs to support early optioneering for a bus priority corridor with integrated active travel and pedestrian-safety improvements. We developed opportunities and constraints plans, assessed technical and environmental feasibility, and prepared clear CAD-based layout drawings illustrating deliverable interventions. Our team also contributed to review meetings, presenting emerging concepts and demonstrating how the designs met identified constraints and aligned with SCC’s strategic objectives.
